Whats up w/ the picts????

I just wanted to state an opinion of mine. I think that you should add more picts of your audience and shorten some of the picts of the band. I looked at the picts from the show at YP in December and out of the 118 picts, approximately 18 of the picts were of the audience. I know that the crowd likes to see how big of fools they look like when they are drunk and acting crazy. [glow=red,2,300]TAKE MORE OF THE AUDIENCE!!!!! [/glow] You may bring in a larger crowd. Take a look at Ribbon Grass's and YUMS web page and get some pointers!!!

We love our audiences too! Truth be told, we've had fans in the past request that we NOT put their pictures on the website, because they don't want to be seen falling over drunk or flashing their boobies or fooling around with someone who isn't their significant other and so on. So we're kinda gun shy about putting too many fan pics up. At the same time, we realize that there's only so many times people want to stare at our ugly mugs strumming an A chord, so hopefully we'll be able to streamline the pics section in the future.

PS - Are you accusing us of being self-centered? If so, Vic's personal forum is the wrong place to do it! This section of the board is dedicated to all things Vic, all the time.

Damn, I love when people come on here anonymously and post things that we should and should not do. As Jimi said "Mystery Guest #50," we've had so many people tell us that pics need to be taken down for one reason or another. For us, it's too much hassle to put up a gallery of pics only to contact our webmaster telling him to remove 10 pics because person A is scared their mom and dad or boss or whatever will see them drunk and their tits hanging out. We love our fans, but we also know that just as we shouldn't take 500 pics of us and 1 or 2 of the crowd, we can't take 500 pics of the crowd because you want to fulfil your need to be the center of attention. In the future, we will take some more pics of the crowd, but we won't be taking more pics of the crowd than we will the band. These pics are looked at by club owners and promotions people too, so unless you want to take my place as the singer or Jimi's as the guitarist, there needs to be more pics of us than of you. But to sit there and say we have no love for the fans because we don't have a million fan pics is rediculous and wrong. We're among our fanbase more than probably any band in this area all the time. Because we know who came to see us and we know that without the fans, we wouldn't be as successful as we are. I'd suggest next time you post to 1.) Come out from behind your keyboard and say who you are and 2.) Get your facts straight before you post. You'll find your words are taken a lot more seriously.

speaking as a fan, i personally would rather look at pics of the band, than myself. (but i'm also not self centered) that's just me. oh and sorry i spoiled it for everyone else, but you have to give me credit, my shirt has not been lifted for some time now, nor will it ever be again ;D Oh, and who the hell are ribbon grass and yum? never heard of them, but wahoo they love their fans, yeah for them , hairforce one loves their fans, believe me, they do

Well, the crowd pics are very valuable for promotion too. Club owners are very interested in seeing the size and composition of the crowds we draw. When you look at a band site and don't see any crowd shots, the band might look cool but you always wonder if they're playing to an empty room.

I think we should show off the fact that our crowds are packed full with people having a great time. They are also damn good looking.

Dunno what the problem is. I think there are equally GOOD pictures taken of the crowd and of the band. When I say good, I mean good band shots, good crowd shots that you can see how big the crowd is and how big the club is etc. Sometimes it's quality not quantity. No Face, don't come on here to give props to some other band. Tactless. Really, I don't give a fuck about Yum and Ribbon Grass. This is the HF1 site and that's who we're gonna talk about.

I am all for "constructive" suggestions that help me capture what people want to see when they view the photos section. But I too wonder when someone has to post anonoumously what the deal is. In some ways I agree that I as well would like to get more crowd photos, but also have to be careful because of the before mentioned reasons why some might not want their photo up. And as for these guys loving their audience I dont think you have been out to an HF1 show if you think they dont.

And Jimi I do agree that some photos of packed dance floors would be good for club owners to see.

Ok I AM self centered and VERY Vain I love looking at myself...LOL...BUT seriously....Id rather see pics of the band and not the fans...when I go to a site to look at pics Im there to look at the BAND not a bunch of drunks dancing on the floor or some teen ager with hormons trying to dive onto the stage.... I take pics of the guys alllll the time , for myself, I share em with them...But when Im taking those pics the best subjects are on the stage and on new years and halloween I took well over 400 and they were nothing but the guys, the beggars and the BEARS, cuz well thats all I wanted to see...

There is no doubt that Hair Force One loves their fans, They adore us all....Ive gotten a whole new extended family just cuz I waited on them one night after a show, ever since, they have been in my life...They are the greatest guys ever....

I am not self centered. I just thought that if you want "important" people to think of you and see you, you might want to show how much you can bring in!!! I am sure those important people would like to know how much value you hold and maybe you can book more shows that bring in the crowd. The comment about people not wanting their sh*t out in the open and they don't want their dirty laundry shown, should not be out in the open and act as they do!!! I know there is some SH*T that should not be seen b/c, well, they are gross!!!

I do come to the shows and enjoy the music. Iva Biggin (Tim) is the best and he is so funny. I am not critisizing the band by far. Just stating my opinion with the picture factor.
