Well, since I'm last to read this, I know you guys tried hard to get into THAT Pottsville club for a very long time and I've since always thought it was unfair. You've done your part in being persistant. That place is a shit hole, the guy that runs it is shady, shifty eyed fucker and I saw it every time I've seen him. You guys are big-hearted, honest, and hard working and this fucker thought he was going to take advantage of you and walk all over it. Screwing you over by canceling gigs and shit. I'm relieved you'll never go to THAT club again. It certainly isn't worth a 3 hour drive and you will find better, I have faith in yins guys. As for HF1 ever EVER fucking bashing a venue, it never fucking happens until now. And with every goddamn given right to do so. If they want to fucking shit on the doorways, they should be allowed to, if they wanted to gas and torch, I'd be behind them (and NO they wouldn't do that, but, yanno...) I think the guys dont' say as much as they should to certain people and clubs and bands...but that's b/c they care about their band and their integrity. So go ahead, "guest" don't come out and see us. We've gotta fuckin' fan base 2 miles long. Otherwise, shut up and show up. You couldn't ask for a friendlier, funnier group of guys that will ACTUALLY talk to fans and admirers..huh...imagine that. Me? Yeah I'm friendly, so's the rest of the bears. We ARE protective though. Rhoda AMEN AMEN...the fucker will get what's comin' to him....Payback's are a bitch, do unto others, and all that jazz. Anyway, ::wipes brow, steps out of bitch mode:: You guys played real well, I enjoyed some of the new songs that you brought. I had fun with everyone. Just can't let things like this bother ya for too long. So I won't say anymore about it. Rant OVER....and out.  My friend From work says peace. ;D |

This just goes to show you can't take anyone at their word anymore.
As for guest, HF1 is the only band that gets me and my friends out. As a matter of fact we have a crue of about 20 people going to the YP show this Saturday.
You guys never disappoint!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry to hear about your troubles but from what i have heard you guys where great wish i could of went, being a ~new fan of the band~ i can tellthe mystery guest that the band is very good and they are not like what you read on here they are the most down to earth group and every one was very freindly including the hair bears and they open there arms out to new fans! this pottsville deal was a raw deal and it just burnt there ass once to many times it took them 4 times to get screwed over before they voiced there opion openly i do hope you go and see them and see the true side of the band and the hair bears also i do hope that other bands either get the stuff in writing before they go and play there if they play there at all. one more note ~even thou they knew about the screwjob they still played for the fans instead of turning right around and coming home! now that is not what most if any band will do.

Holy f*cking hell! This sounds like the roadtrip from hell! I'm truly sorry to hear about this, I know how hard Vic, Iva, Jimi, Hugh, and Phil have worked to get a good rep as a band and get out all over the state. Having worked with the boyz, I can tell you that they are all true pros, and some of the nicest guys you could ever meet and share the stage with. This dickface in Pottsville needs a attitude adjustment and a serious reality check.
I hope that everything works out in the end, and that HF1 goes on to global dominance, while Goodfellas succumbs to termite rot and a sudden influx of bad ska bands and Michael Bolton tribute acts.
Rock on boys, you deserve and will get treated better EVERYWHERE else. Much love.
